Things are not looking great for Jussie Smollett. As I previously reported, he may have faked being hate crimed. But now he’s on Cardi B’s bad side, and that’s not a good place to be, unless you’re Nicki Minaj. Cardi got on her Instagram story and let loose on the dude, via The Blast:
“I’m really disappointed in Jussie Smollett, or whatever the f*ck his name is,” Cardi began, adding, “I feel like he f*cked up Black History Month, bro.”
The rapper admits she’s reserving complete judgement until Smollett tells the whole story, but says if it was all a lie, “then bro, you f*cked up for real.”
Cardi also thinks Smollett’s allegedly fabricated story will be fodder for President Donald Trump and his supporters, explaining, “You got Donald Trump immunity to f*cking laugh and make motherf*ckers look bad.”
Cardi did mention that she was waiting until he admitted it to pass judgement until he claim clean because the police can be racist, which is true, but it’s not looking good for Jussie.
To cap things off, there’s also a motive emerging for his staging of the attack now, according to CBS. It seemed unclear why he would do this after rumors he was in danger of being written off Empire were denied, but it seems like he wanted to “raise awareness.”
“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett, upset after a racist letter sent to the show’s studio didn’t get a “bigger reaction,” is suspected of paying two men to attack him a week later, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the investigation.
“When the letter didn’t get enough attention, he concocted the staged attack,” a source told CBS 2 Investigator Brad Edwards. Other sources corroborated that information.
That’s a pretty big reaction to getting hate mail. I mean, I got yelled at by Margot Kidder, who was apparently checking Google alerts for her name to yell at anyone making jokes at her expense from her deathbed, but I never once thought to stage an attack on myself by a crazed Margot Kidder, which, honestly, would have been more believable than Jussie’s story of Trump-loving Empire fans. I could have raised a lot of awareness about attacks by Margot Kidder.
