Nick Cannon Wants Everyone to Know He Hooked Pete Davidson Up With Kate Beckinsale

Nick Cannon is back again in celebrity news again, and frankly, this is probably the most press he’s had since his breakup with Mariah Carey. This time, he’s taking the credit for hooking the 25-year-old Pete Davidson up with 45-year-old actress Kate Beckinsale.

For weeks, there has been heavy speculation that Davidson and Beckinsale are now an item. Or at least a casual hookup. Since the two have been photographed together holding hands and leaving clubs, rumors have been flying. And Nick Cannon is more than ready to jump in to confirm and reap the praise for getting the two together.

Cannon has temporarily taken over as the host of Wendy Williams’ talk show where he announced on the “Hot Topics” segment:

“Last night I was hanging out with my little brother, Pete Davidson. We was in Brooklyn! We were having some good conversation. We were having cougar conversations. I taught that young boy well.”

“I will take credit for it. I’m the one who told him, ‘Get you an older woman, man!’ I said that. Leave them little pop stars alone! An old woman knows what she wants! She don’t play no games! That’s what I’m talking about. Get you somebody older!

Yeah…I don’t really see Cannon as the best person to take relationship advice from. Given that he’s been married to an older woman who is also a pop star, and we all know that relationship ended up in the crapper, I would hesitate to accept his guidance.

Also, Kate Beckinsale is an awesome lady and while she’s older than Davidson, I don’t think she would appreciate you referring to her as “an old woman.” Christ, if that’s how you referred to your ex-wife Mariah Carey when you guys were married, I’m not surprised that she dumped your ass.
