Literally No One is Happy About the Player Scores in ‘Madden 2020’

Football season is just around the corner, and you know what that means; there’s going to be some long lines for the CTE wing. It also means that there’s a new Madden game just around the corner that’s given every player in the league a numerical rating from 1 to 99, with 99 being the best and 1 being Eli Manning.

I kid Eli Manning, he may be a huge disappointment now but it’s not like Tom Brady ever beat him when it actually counted. Eli Manning is going to end up as the most accomplished quarterback this side of Jim Plunkett to not get into the Hall of Fame, he’s a two-time Super Bowl MVP and he’s going to end his career with a 72 rating in Madden, the lowest of any starting quarterback in the league.

But even players who got much higher ratings that Manning were unhappy about them. Former Steeler Antonio Brown, who was featured on last year’s cover tweeted, and then later deleted “Madden shorted me on my check for the madden 19 cover now they short my ratings.” Not the first time Brown has complained about his rating, which is only 1 point off a perfect score.

I mean, it went up since then.

But look at all these teams and players complaining about their ratings.

Basically, there’s a lot of griping from players and fans today.

But it’s not all bad.

Yeah, that’s the content I need.
