Demi Lovato Had a Nervous Breakdown

Before entering rehab for an eating disorder, Demi Lovato had a nervous breakdown. The 18-year-old, who was admitted to rehab in November, says her parents were so worried about her that they staged an intervention.

“I basically had a nervous breakdown. I was really bad off. My parents and manager pulled me aside and said, ‘You need to get some help.’ It was an intervention. I wanted freedom from the inner demons. I wanted to start my life over.”

Well, that sucks. Hopefully the millions of dollars she has and the resulting publicity from this will help console her in this troubling time in her life. According to medical journals, stacks of cash are really good at getting rid of inner demons.
