Lindsay Lohan has gone from being the next It girl, starring in films such as Mean Girls and Herbie, to starring in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick and now to The Canyons with porn star James Deen, who’s starred in over 1,000 pornos, in a project funded by a Kickstarter campaign. The author and screenwriter for this is Bret Easton Ellis who also wrote Less Than Zero and American Psycho.
To be directed by Paul Schrader (Auto-Focus, Affliction), The Canyons is described as a contemporary thriller that documents five twenty-somethings’ quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood.
Deen, who Ellis has long-championed for the role, is a prolific figure in the porn industry, having appeared in nearly a thousand projects in less than decade. Lohan, meanwhile, is currently in production on the telefilm “Liz & Dick,” based on the life of actress Elizabeth Taylor and her love affair with actor Richard Burton. ComingSoon
First, it’s amazing Lindsay gets any work at all considering how big of a liability she is. Second, I’m guessing this brings her one step closer to finally doing porn for cash.
