Justin Bieber’s Manager Is the World’s Best Justin Bieber Apologist

Last year, Justin Bieber shot two episodes of CBS’s CSI. After filming wrapped, the cast and crew labeled Justin a brat. Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows) explained that Justin locked a producer in a closet and put his fist through a cake at the craft services table.

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, finally addresses the comments. He says the producer who was locked in the closet was as much to blame if not more so than Justin. Huh? What? Is this one of those “you were asking for it by the way you dressed” type reasoning?

“The producer gets on (the phone) – he’s a stuffy dude, and he’s like, ‘Justin is incredibly unprofessional. He put his hand in a cake, he locked me in a closet…’

“I said, ‘Let me ask you a question. When he locked you in the closet, did you tell him you were angry?’ He goes, ‘No, I needed him to work, so I laughed.’ And I said, ‘So he saw you acknowledge his joke and say it’s OK? Then you’re more to blame than him. He’s a kid – he’s waiting for someone to tell him where the limits are.’

“At the end of the day, even in his most selfish moments you just need to point out that he’s being selfish. He’s more embarrassed about it than anything. When he’s being a prick , he’s not being a prick because he’s famous. He’s being a prick because he’s a kid.”

He’s right. It was totally the producer’s fault for believing Justin Bieber was capable of acting professional. He should have realized that not only does he have to produce one of network television’s highest rated dramas but he also has to play parent to Justin Bieber. That producer guy is way out of line on this one.

On another note, no. Justin was totally being a prick because he’s famous. He was 16 or 17 when he filmed those episodes. Imagine a normal 16/17-year-old at his summer job locking his boss in a closet and punching a cake meant for everyone. Wait, you can’t imagine it because that’ll never happen since normal 16/17-year-olds understand consequences. The ones that don’t understand consequences are the famous ones who are constantly surrounded by Yes Men and apologists like Scooter Braun.
