Us Weekly reported yesterday that Vince Vaughn proposed to Jennifer Aniston. It happened after Vince returned from a rapist’s coastal retreat and after a week of people saying Aniston and Vaughn are broken up.
“He was going to propose on the beach during the trip, but he chickened out because he wasn’t sure if she would accept, says the source. “But he knew he was leaving town [to film Into the Wild in South Dakota] for awhile, so he just felt he had to ask her before they landed.
Right after, Aniston spokesman Stephen Huvane denied the engagement to ABCNews. Meanwhile, Life&Style claimed they knew about this months ago. Now E! is getting in on some of the action and claims Us’s source “fell out of the loop at some point.” Not to have their cover story defiled, Us posted a list of famous denials by Stephen Huvane and basically called him a liar. Then there’s Star magazine in left field telling everyone Matthew McConaughey is pursuing Jennifer Aniston. It’s amazing. These magazines can give you all this information, but can’t tell you why Jennifer Aniston is still famous.
