Despite mountains of scientific research and data that conclude global warming is a real phenomenon caused by humans, 1 in 4 Americans still don’t believe it. As John Oliver suggested on Last Week Tonight, those people are idiots and arguing with them is pointless. It’s like arguing with vaccine truthers. You can show them as much evidence as you want but all they’re going to do is stick their fingers in their ears and go “lalalalala.”
