Captain America: Virgin Soldier?

Move over 40 year old virgin, our favorite popsicled American hero may be giving you a run for your money.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chris Evans admits he believes Captain America is “probably a virgin” because the good old Cap just hasn’t had the opportunity. Evans is excited for the prospect of the 2016 Avengers installment: Captain America: Civil War (or as you may like to call it: Captain America: One Pump Chump) where he’ll finally explore a relationship with a woman.

“It’s funny when you think about it—he’s probably a virgin,” Evans, 33, said with a laugh during an Entertainment Weekly Q&A. “He’s probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would’ve happened.”

Well, the super soldier did go on a USO tour back in the day.

“Maybe one of those [dancing] girls blew his mind. He’s probably just a good guy. He was probably holding out for Peggy Carter [Hayley Atwell] and he’s a little more old-fashioned in that sense,” he mused. “These are a lot of things that I think are giant conflicts, but they’re also very personal conflicts.”

Even with Evans’ reasonable suspicions, it’s hard to think a guy with a body like that has had trouble getting laid. We’ve seen the way the girls look at you, Captain; maybe they’re just not into the tights.
