Chris Pratt Is Totes Down For A ‘Parks and Recreation’ Movie

Usually when actors say they “wouldn’t rule out” being in a sequel or spin off or “it’s possible,” what they mean is that they would rather be tortured to death, or that when you have enough gambling debt, you’ll star in anything.

Chris Pratt definitely seems more genuinely open to stepping back into Andy Dwyer’s shoes however. On “Sway in the Morning”, he talked about the possibilities of some kind of reunion spin off or film when asked by a caller if “we’re ever going to see the greatest FBI agent, Burt Tyrannosaurus Macklin, in another season of Parks and Recreation?”

Pratt had this to say:

“It’s hard to say. I would never rule it out. There’s jobs that I’ve done in the past where I could safely say I would never do that again, but Parks and Rec is not one of them.”

He did get real however.

“We did do seven seasons, y’know, somewhere along the lines of 150 episodes, so eventually you start running out of stories to tell, but because of the nature of that show kind of mimicking time, I definitely wouldn’t rule out seeing it again, seeing us get back together for a movie, or for another season down the line, a possible spinoff, or whatever.”

Wow, it’s almost like beating a dead horse forever when it comes to TV isn’t a great idea. Amazing. Thanks Chris Pratt. Even though you and your wife abandon dogs to die on the streets of LA you’re so likable.
