Did Adele Pull a Total ‘Mean Girls’ Move and Break Her Grammy in Half for Beyonce?

We all know Beyonce got robbed at the Grammy Awards.

While Adele has a great voice, she makes pretty standard music. Lemonade was life-changing and genre bending and a full arthouse experience.

So, of course, Adele kinda covered that in her award acceptance speech. We all knew it anyway.

However, on Sunday night, Adele was photographed with a broken award. Despite the fact that it was immediately replaced and she was photographed with an intact award too, Twitter has been having a great time comparing it to the famous Mean Girls scene where Cady Heron, played by Lindsay Lohan, throws her Spring Fling crown back into the crowd in pieces.

Remember that scene in Mean Girls?
