Kevin Federline and Britney Spears Engage in a Battle of Tax Returns

Last week, we reported that Kevin Federline was still trying get more money out of Britney Spears for…reasons.

Well, things are only getting worse.

Just to catch you up: Spears currently gives Federline $20,000 a month in child support. That’s not enough for Federline, although he couldn’t exactly say why it wasn’t enough. Spears is currently making millions due to her Las Vegas residency and Federline believes she can give him give more, give him more, give him more.

Britney’s father, Jamie, ain’t one for free handouts. Instead of honoring K-Fed’s request, he sent over a budget plan for Federline on how he could make that $20K a month last. That’s a baller move, honestly. Jamie believes that Kevin is using the $20,000 to support his other kids. Federline has two kids with Spears, two kids with Star Jackson, and two more kids with Victoria Prince.

This didn’t set well with Federline or her attorney, who said, “Unfortunately, the proposal that came back amounted to no modification of support, but it indicated to me that Mr. Spears has to recognize that he is the conservator for Britney and not for Kevin.”

Jamie also asked for Federline’s 2017 tax return to see whether or not he is working. Federline’s attorney countered….by asking for Spears’ tax returns. Nothing like a tax return battle to wet the gossip appetite.

In 2016, Federline told Entertainment Tonight that “everything is cool” with him and Spears.

The basis of Federline’s argument is that Spears is making more now than she was when the initial child support agreement was signed. Let that be lesson to everyone out there. Don’t better yourself.
