The Worst Dudes on the Internet Are Ratting Out Sex Workers For Not Paying Taxes

Thanksgiving has just come and gone, and Christmas is just around the corner. How have you been spending the holiday season so far? Browsing the sales, spending time with your family, slashing your wrists because death has finally become a better option than hearing “Wonderful Christmastime” even one more time? If you’re the type of person who couldn’t get laid in a women’s prison with a messenger bag full of pardons, maybe you’ve spent it randomly reporting women who sell naked pictures of themselves to the IRS on the hopes that they haven’t properly paid their taxes.

Yes, News.com.au reported on Sunday that Roosh V, a man whose blog post about how rape should be legal is one of the least misogynist things he’s ever written, was leading the call on social media for the sort of unlovable, barely-literate person who would follow Roosh on social media to report women with premium Snapchats to the IRS in the hopes that they’re not properly reporting their income and have to pay some extra payroll taxes, because who isn’t concerned that the $15 someone made for showing a dude her tits might have been paid under the table?

“Online thots are finding out that all income generated from their breasts and vagina is taxable,” Mr Valizadeh tweeted.

“Men are aggressively organising to report all thots. I don’t blame them: these girls are getting a free ride via beta bux and a broken sexual marketplace that is rigged in the favour of females.”

That might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and I’ve been covering Kanye West for a year and a half.

Online model Suz Ellis said a “bunch of men on Twitter are mad because they believe they’re entitled to free nudes, so they’re reporting sex workers’ Snapchat incomes to the IRS for audits”. “Just say you hate women and leave,” she wrote.

Now, some of you might be saying “Yeah, but I pay taxes, they should too!” And yes, if income is taxable, you should report it and pay taxes on it. But why exactly does anyone care? Even if you hear this and abstractly think it’s good that they’re being reported for not paying taxes, why does anyone care? What does snitching on these women actually do other than make you feel better for making the life of someone who won’t touch your sad, shrivelled dick slightly worse?

Vice contributor Jules Suzdaltsev said the same people “who think Trump is a genius for hiding his tax returns are desperately reporting camgirls to the IRS for allegedly not paying enough in taxes”.

Remember, snitches get stitches.
