Jake Paul Went Looting for Content, Reclaiming Title of ‘Dumbest Paul Brother’… For Now
If you haven’t been following the news, maybe because you’re one of the select few people who can actually watch HBO Max on their television or something, there have been some pretty intense protests that have resulted in rioting and looting in response to a police officer killing an unarmed black man named George Floyd who was being arrested for forgery.
There is a simmering tension just under the surface of American society and this sort of injustice can bring it right to the surface where it boils over and people take the streets filled with righteous anger.
And then there’s Jake Paul. We thought Logan Paul had solidly claimed the title of Worst Paul Brother for life after he went hunting for dead bodies in a Japanese forest famous as a place where people routinely commit suicide and posted video of it on his channel, but Jake has done the work and managed to do something even worse by going out looting during the protests, seemingly for his channel.
Yes, that definitely appears to show someone going into a P.F. Chang’s, taking a bottle of vodka and handing it directly to Jake Paul. Paul put out a statement assuring us we didn’t actually see that, though.

The mall that Paul is at was apparently not the site of the protests. And Jake Paul is not a journalist or a historian. He was there to drive clicks to his YouTube channel, probably with a title like “You Won’t BELIEVE How Crazy The Protest I Went to Was!”
It’s hard to know if what you’re doing is helping or hurting the cause in the heat of the moment, and it’s something that basically won’t really be known until we know how things turn out. But if you’re Jake or Logan Paul and you want to help, do it by staying the hell away and making a video about how drunk you got last night or whatever the f**k it is they normally make videos about.
