Machine Gun Kelly Wanted Megan Fox to Be a Part of His Suicide Attempt

Machine Gun Kelly called Megan Fox, then tried killing himself while she was on the phone. Because everyone wants to be there when their significant other commits suicide.

Kelly revealed details about his attempted suicide attempt in his current Hulu documentary Life in Pink.

Fox had traveled to Bulgaria to shoot a movie. While she was gone, Kelly started getting “wild paranoia.”

Like I kept getting paranoid that someone was gonna come and kill me. I would always sleep with a shotgun next to my bed, and like, one of the days, I just fucking snapped.

He told Fox “you aren’t here for me.” Then, he started yelling and put the shotgun in his mouth.

I go to cock the shotgun and the bullet as it comes back up, the shell just gets jammed. Megan’s like dead silent.

Dead silent like a cliffhanger. Fox was like, well, did you do it??

That’s when Kelly realized he was “not right.”

Fox and Kelly’s 12-year-old daughter, Casie, were worried for him.

They simultaneously came at me with this like, ‘I want to like, be able to see in your eyes. I don’t want to like be talking to you through a veil anymore. I want to see you as my father and I want to see you as my husband-to-be. I was like, ‘I need to kick the drugs, for real this time.’

Kelly says Fox has helped him get better.

Megan became like the sun to me — like the one that I revolve around and gives me life and like helps me grow. It’s just like every fairytale that they never told you in school, that they never taught you. Like the passion between us is otherworldly. I know I’ve known her in so many other lifetimes.

I feel like I’ve tried to kill myself with her in many other lifetimes.

Currently, my drug of choice is happiness and commitment to the art, rather than commitment to a vice that I believed made the art,” he said at the time. “I’m taking steps. I had my first therapy session last Thursday. That’s the first time I ever went, ‘Hey, I need to separate these two people,’ which is Machine Gun Kelly and Colson Baker. The dichotomy is too intense for me.

Kelly and Fox met early on in the pandemic in July 2020. It happened on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. Raise your hand if you ever heard about that movie before today.

The two took to wearing vials of their blood as necklaces. Kelly now calls her his wife even though they aren’t married. Marriage is a label.

I think when I speak about terminology — it never felt like my girlfriend. It feels too adolescent for the depth of our relationship.

Dinners at fancy restaurants are nice surprises for your girlfriend or boyfriend, not suicide attempts.
