Did Aaron Hernandez Kill To Cover Up His Homosexuality?

This Aaron Hernandez story is turning into a soap opera and tragedy. Hernandez committed suicide this past week by tying a bed sheet around his neck. He scrawled “John 3:16” onto his forehead and marked his hands and feet with red ink. He also coated his cell floor with soap and shampoo. That would’ve made the cell floor slippery in case he backed out mid-suicide.

Before his suicide, he left three suicide notes: one for his 4-year-old daughter Avielle; one for fiancee Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez; and one for a previously unknown person.

It turned out that unknown person was purportedly his gay prison lover. *record scratch* Looks like Hernandez was prison gay. Gay for stay if you will.

Or not.

According to a Newsweek article, Hernandez possibly killed Lloyd to cover up his bisexuality.

Hernandez’s sexuality would, of course, not be relevant save for the fact that an intimate relationship he allegedly had with a male former high school classmate was at the center of the investigation into Lloyd’s murder.

His co-defendant in the Lloyd murder, Ernest Wallace, helped Hernandez get rid of the murder weapon. That’s when he thought he was straight though. Uh huh.

Ernest Wallace, a co-defendant in the Lloyd murder case, told detectives the victim had called Hernandez a “schmoocher,” which was taken by Hernandez and his companions as a gay slur. Wallace was also recorded saying during a jailhouse visit with Tanya Singleton, Hernandez’s cousin, that he would not have helped Hernandez get rid of the murder weapon—a crime for which he is now serving a 4½-to-7 year sentence on accessory to murder charges—if he had known Hernandez was a “limp wrist,” multiple sources say.

During the Lloyd investigation, investigators interviewed Hernandez’s supposed high school male lover. Somehow this never came out in the news at the time. Also, it looks like Hernandez either paid him off or gave him money for some other reasons.

Hernandez’s alleged longtime male lover, the high school friend, was interviewed extensively by authorities after Lloyd’s murder, and was forced to testify in front of a grand jury. Law enforcement officials also say Hernandez moved a large amount of money into three accounts shortly before his arrest for the Lloyd killing: one account was for his fiancée; a second was for his daughter; the third, where the most money was moved, was for that friend.

Obviously, if this is true, that Hernandez had to kill to hid his bisexuality, it’s sad. He couldn’t live out in the open, be himself and play football. Also, that tight end set with Rob Gronkowski could’ve led to another championship.
