Demi Lovato Loves Her Body, Fatty Stretch Marks and All

Demi Lovato has no problem with who she is. She wrote a song called “Confident” with the lyrics, “What’s wrong with being confident?” She’s the walking definition of confidence. Whether it’s making out with Kehlani on stage or thirsting after Superman, she owns who she is.

So it should come as no surprise that she’s owning her “fat” and stretch marks. Pointing out her flaws in her latest Instagram story, Lovato ended each caption with “And yet I still love myself.”

Lovato has been public about her struggles with bulimia and eating disorders for years now. She makes no secret of her desire to go back for extras.

It’s refreshing to see a woman who doesn’t need eight hours worth of makeup and prep to take a selfie. You go, Demi.
