Jussie Smollett’s PR Firm Claims ‘Every Iota’ of Evidence Supports His Story, Because He Thinks We’re all Idiots

Did you see Dave Chappelle’s new stand-up special? One of his best bits was the segment on Jussie Smollett, which Dave pronounced Juicy Smoo-yay. Like basically everyone in the world, he thinks Jussie is lying about being attacked by guys in MAGA Hats in Chicago who put a noose around his neck.

He mentioned, as I have previously, that for starters, what homophobic racist is watching Empire?

I don’t really think what Jussie did is all that bad, certainly not anything that rises above slap on the wrist territory as far as punishment goes, so I’m not one of those people yelling he needs to be investigated or jailed or whatever.

but the thing that galls me about this whole ordeal is how stupid Jussie Smollett thinks we all are. His PR firm put out yet another statement proclaiming his innocence and claiming the evidence supports his version of events.

A statement emailed Wednesday follows a city filing Monday defending its lawsuit seeking to recoup costs of investigating what it says was a January publicity stunt.

The statement says “every iota of information … Smollett has stated has been fully corroborated.”

Every iota. Wow. I would rather he punch me in the balls and run away while I’m distracted. It would be less disrespectful. Smollett’s current behavior is like he’s a pro wrestling heel, just trying to get people to hate him more.

Like, seriously, tell me this isn’t then outline for  a Ric Flair storyline from 1992, claiming Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat attacked him and called him the n-word and told him he was in MAGA country, then insisting for months that every word of it was true. You’re going to be cheering so hard when he finally gets put in that Dragon Sleeper and has to admit he made it up.
